Don’t be Late for Dinner

NAPA – On Tuesday, June 26 a 47-year-old Napa woman was booked on suspicion of domestic violence after she reportedly pushed another woman to the ground, climbed atop her and attempted to asphyxiate the victim when she was late for dinner, according to police.  The alleged female victim was able to free herself from the other woman’s grasp and left the residence until officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 9 p.m. on the 2700 block of Utah St.

The victim suffered only a minor injury and did not need urgent medical help.  Karen Howell was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and booked into the Napa County Jail.
