Convicted Felon Arrested For Storage Unit Burglaries in Napa
NAPA, CA — “Napa County Sheriff’s Detectives are actively investigating multiple reports of storge unit burglaries from the Storage Star on Devlin Road in Napa. After making an arrest last week, detectives continued their investigation and identified yet another suspect, Joey Mason, a 65-year-old man from Vallejo.
Mason has a history of burglary arrests and convictions. Today, with the assistance of American Canyon Police Department and Napa Special Investigations Bureau, detectives executed search warrants at Mason’s storage unit and his residence in Vallejo.
Detectives recovered related stolen property, which included stolen firearms parts and ammunition from Mason’s residence.
Mason was arrested and booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections on the following felony charges:
• 496 (a) PC- Possession of Stolen Property
• 459 PC- Burglary
• 30305(a) PC- Felon in Possession of Ammunition
