Teresa Street Stabbing in Modesto

A male suspect is being questioned after a male victim died from multiple stab wounds on July 20th in Modesto.  Neither of their names has yet to be released by the Modesto Police Department.

Officers were originally called to the scene at 3:50 PM by a witness who was reporting a fight. When officers arrived at the 1400 block of Teresa Street they found the victim lying face down in front of a residential house. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The police caught the suspect, who had fled the scene, at Pearl Street near Kearney Avenue. Authorities are still trying to determine his involvement in the assault. Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators will begin to process the scene and interview witnesses in order to determine what led to the stabbing.
