Fairfield shooting leaves one dead

A 26-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday morning, according to the Daily Repulic.

At about 2:50 a.m., police received a call that a man was shot in the parking lot of an apartment on the 2000 block of Clay Bank Road.


Police arrived at the Avery Park Apartments on the corner of Clay Bank Road and East Tabor Avenue to find Quincy Quinney of Suisun City in the parking lot with gunshot wounds.

Quinney was taken to the NorthBay Medical Center by paramedics. He was pronounced dead at 4 a.m, according to the Daily Republic.

Neighbors reported hearing multiple cars speeding away from the complex after the shots were heard. According to the Daily Republic, one neighbor reported there seemed to be some type of party that occurred near the site of the shooting.
