Police find a gun in his backpack

The Lodi Police Department recently nabbed a man with a gun in his backpack –

On 6/7/20 at about 11pm, Officers Bahr, Martinez and Galvan responded to a call of suspicious subjects in the 1100 block of W Lodi Avenue who were possibly breaking bottles at the location.

here’s the gun

One of the males, later identified as Tyme Tinsley (23 year old male of Stockton), walked away and out of view of officers.

Tinsley was wearing a backpack before walking away and returned a few moments later without a backpack.

Tinsley was contacted and his backpack was found near a residence on Fairmont Avenue.

A loaded .40 caliber handgun was located in the backpack.

Tinsley was arrested and later cited and released for weapons violations.
