The Lodi Police Department report a shooting last Sunday, and the arrest of the shooter on their official Facebook Page –

“On 1/19/20 just after 3 PM, Lodi Police Officers responded to the area of Auto Center Drive near Beckman Road after the report of a shooting. Officers located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is currently in stable condition. Information was developed that John Lisby (41 years old of Lodi) was responsible for the shooting and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Yesterday Lisby was arrested in the 400 block of E. Kettleman Lane. Lisby is being held in the Lodi Jail on charges of attempted murder and multiple weapons offenses. This does not appear to be a random shooting as Lisby and the Victim know each other, however the motive is still under investigation. The firearm used in this case has been recovered.

If anyone has information regarding this shooting, contact Detective Perez at (209) 333-6870 or remain anonymous by contacting Lodi Area Crime Stoppers at 209-369-2746. Please reference case number 20-403”
