“On October 13, 2021, at 3:12 p.m., Stockton Police Community Response Team Officers observed a suspect with a firearm in the 500 block of West Oak Street.

When officers attempted to contact the suspect, he fled into a residence. A K-9 unit assisted with taking the suspect into custody. Two firearms were located in the residence.

Arrested were Anthony Diaz, 44, for weapons charges and resisting arrest; Jesus Walters, 28; and Juan Monreal, 45, for weapons charges.

Pena’s gun

On October 18, 2021, at 4:17 p.m., Stockton Police Community Response Team Officers conducted a traffic stop at McDonnell Avenue and Scotts Avenue.

During a search of the vehicle, a loaded firearm, with no serial number, was found concealed within. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Arrested was Alejandro Pena, 19, for weapons charges.
