Four Arrested on Various Charges in Months-Long Humboldt County Narcotics Investigation
HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CA — “On September 30, the Humboldt County Drug Task Force served search warrants at three locations in Myers Flat and Eureka following a months-long narcotics investigation.
Agents seized 655 grams of methamphetamine, 630 fentanyl pills packaged inside a Nerds candy box, 43 grams of cocaine, Xanax, oxycodone and Percocet pills, 14 firearms, loaded high-capacity magazines, body armor, digital scales and drug packaging materials. Several firearms did not have serial numbers, and one had an obliterated serial number.
Three juveniles were also located at the residences. Narcotics and firearms were found unsecured and accessible to them. The juveniles were placed in safe locations and Child Welfare Services will receive the criminal report.
Four people were arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges including possession of controlled substances for sale, firearm offenses and child endangerment.
This investigation is part of our continued effort to get fentanyl and other dangerous drugs off the streets of Humboldt County and keep them out of our communities.
