Suspect, 18, Arrested for Alleged Attempted Homicide in McKinleyville
McKINLEYVILLE, CA — “Today at 11:52 AM, the Humboldt County sheriffs office emergency communication center received a 911 call reporting a shooting had just occurred on Reasor Road in Mckinleyville. It was reported that a male subject had been shot. Deputy’s arrived on scene and located a 25-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. The suspect was observed getting into a white vehicle and fled the scene. Several witnesses were contacted, and the suspect was identified as Damian Bradfield, 18 years old. At 1547 hours The suspect was subsequently located in the 1700 block of Stromberg, Arcata. Bradfield surrendered without incident at that location. Bradford was subsequently transported and booked into Humboldt County Jail. More information will be released on 7/20/26.”
