Chino Police Arrest Suspect in $280,000 Residential Burglary Linked to International Theft Ring
CHINO, CA — Chino Police Department detectives arrested a 23-year-old Los Angeles resident following an investigation into a high-value residential burglary involving an estimated loss exceeding $280,000.
Through investigative follow-up, Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) technology, and data support from Crime Analysts and the department’s Real Time Crime Center, detectives identified vehicles connected to the burglary. The evidence led investigators to secure a search warrant for a residence in Los Angeles.
During the execution of the search warrant, investigators recovered high-end designer purses, luxury watches, RF-WiFi jamming devices, surveillance equipment, a stolen firearm, and a large quantity of currency. Detectives established that the suspect was operating as part of an international organized theft ring.
The 23-year-old suspect was taken into custody and booked into the San Bernardino County Jail on felony burglary and weapons charges.
