SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — Three men were arrested after authorities were dispatched to investigate a report of someone pointing a rifle out of a vehicle near the CalFire station on Mount Hamilton.

According to a press release by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, the responding deputies pulled over a Toyota SUV that matched the description provided in the report and immediately noticed a rifle and pellet gun in plain view.

Deputies reportedly also discovered a camouflage case containing a semi-automatic pistol with a full magazine, as well as a cooler of beer and open alcohol containers.

Of the three occupants in the vehicle, two were arrested on outstanding warrants out of San Jose. The driver of the vehicle reportedly faces firearms charges, police said.
