Multi-Agency Task Force Arrests Ten in Anaheim Prostitution Enforcement Operation

image from scene - courtesy of anahiem pdANAHEIM, CA — Law enforcement agencies conducted a joint prostitution enforcement operation the evening of Wednesday August 26th, targeting commercial sex demand and prostitution-related activity in Anaheim.

The multi-agency initiative included personnel from the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force (OCHTTF), the Anaheim Police Department’s Community Policing Team, Traffic Control Assistants, Detention Officers, and patrol officers. Investigators from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) also participated in the enforcement effort.

The operation resulted in the arrest of 10 individuals and the identification of one suspected pimp.

The Anaheim Police Department serves as the lead law enforcement agency for the OCHTTF, working in conjunction with victim services organizations, including Waymakers, to provide assistance to victims while enforcing human trafficking statutes.
