An Anaheim man has been arrested for murdering both of his elderly parents inside their apartment.

The double homicide suspect, 43-year-old Carlos Manuel Robles-Lopez, was arrested without incident at the scene of the crime.

The assault was in progress at the time police were called on Sunday, November 7th, at nearly 8 p.m.  When they arrived at the Anaheim apartment, located in the 600 block of W. Vermont Avenue, they found a man and a woman, 67-year-old Andres Alvaro-Robles and 65-year-old Teresa Lopez-Miguel, “suffering from major injuries,” according to the release.  “Andres Alvaro-Robles was declared deceased at the location. Teresa Lopez-Miguel was transported to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.”

Carlos Manuel Robles-Lopez is currently being held on $1 million bail.

No further details, such as the method or suspected motive for the crime, were included in the release.

“Anaheim homicide detectives are asking anyone who may have had recent contact with Carlos Manuel Robles-Lopez to contact Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS.”
