Hemet Resident Arrested in Connection With Commercial Burglary Series
HEMET, CA — Officers with the Hemet Police Department arrested a 33-year-old local resident following an investigation into a series of commercial burglaries across the city.
On August 8, 2026, Team 4 officers conducted follow-up inquiries regarding multiple commercial break-ins. Investigators utilized public safety technology to determine the suspect’s direction of travel following one of the incidents. Supplemented by surveillance video provided by local businesses, officers identified the suspect as a 33-year-old Hemet resident.
Officers executed a compliance check at the suspect’s residence, where they located physical evidence linking the individual to the burglaries. Through additional investigation, law enforcement determined the suspect was responsible for three separate commercial burglaries within Hemet.
Police arrested the suspect and booked the individual into custody on multiple felony burglary charges. Authorities acknowledged the role of surveillance technology and business cooperation in resolving the case.
