Fresno Police Reportedly Seize Semi-Automatic Handgun from Suspect in Bicycle Stop
FRESNO, CA — “On August 19, at approximately 11:03 PM, Fresno Police officers were in the area of Jensen Avenue and Elm Avenue when they conducted a bicycle stop for a vehicle code violation. The subject became combative and uncooperative with officers during the stop. After officers successfully detained the suspect, they located a .25 caliber semi-automatic handgun underneath the suspect’s bicycle. Officers determined that the subject had prior felony convictions and was prohibited from possessing firearms. The suspect was booked into the Fresno County Jail for firearm-related charges.”
