Fresno Police Arrest Subject for Alleged Burglary at Fort Miller Elementary

FRESNO, CA — “Early this morning, July 28,2026, shortly after 01:00 AM, the Fresno Police Department received a call at Fort Miller Elementary located at 1302 East Dakota Avenue regarding a subject caught on video breaking into the school. Dispatchers provided the description of the suspect to responding officers.

Officers located a subject matching the description of the suspect as the suspect fled to the west side of the school campus.  The suspect then ran southbound through the alley and into a closed garage on the south side of the alley. Officers identified themselves as officers and ordered the suspect to exit the garage. The suspect eventually complied and exited the garage.  The suspect was detained and later arrested for burglary, possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia and was later booked into the Fresno County Jail.”
