Proactive Enforcement Efforts Lead to Drug Arrest in Marysville
MARYSVILLE, CA — July 8th 2026 — “On July 7, 2026, at approximately 8:50 a.m., Marysville Police Department officers contacted an individual camping near the intersection of 3rd Street and E Street during proactive enforcement efforts.
The individual was found to have three outstanding Marysville Police Department misdemeanor warrants and was taken into custody.
During a search incident to arrest, officers recovered approximately 29 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately $1,000 in U.S. currency, two methamphetamine pipes, and plastic baggies commonly associated with narcotics sales.
Based on the evidence recovered, the individual was arrested on the outstanding warrants and additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of sales.
