Five Inmates Charged with Assault Following Attack at Tulare County Juvenile Detention Center
TULARE, CA — June 19th 2026 — “17-Year-Old Severely Beaten By Five Teens at Juvenile Detention Center. Just before 1 p.m. on 6/19/26, TCSO Deputies were called to the Tulare County Juvenile Detention Center in Visalia for an assault.
When Deputies arrived, they learned five teen inmates had beaten up another 17-year-old inmate, causing severe injuries to his head.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where his condition is unknown.
All five suspects are in custody on felony assault charges.
