Two Woodland Suspects Arrested After Brandishing Pellet Gun During Target Theft
WOODLAND, CA — Officers with the Woodland Police Department responded to an armed robbery report at a Target store at approximately 4:10 p.m on May 21st.
According to authorities, loss prevention personnel contacted two individuals regarding a suspected theft. During the encounter, one of the suspects, identified as 23-year-old Jordan Woolard of Woodland, brandished a firearm at a store employee. Woolard and an accomplice, identified as 30-year-old Carina Diaz of Woodland, then fled the scene.
Investigators learned that Woolard and Diaz entered a ride-share vehicle near an In-N-Out Burger restaurant. Officers located the vehicle and detained both individuals. During the investigation, officers recovered a pellet gun that resembled a real firearm.
Woolard and Diaz were arrested and booked into the Yolo County Jail on charges of robbery and conspiracy.
