Two Juveniles Arrested Following Simultaneous Search Warrant Executions in Desert Hot Springs
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA – Desert Hot Springs Police detectives executed simultaneous search warrants at two separate residential locations on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, leading to the recovery of multiple weapons and the arrest of two juvenile suspects.
The operation commenced at approximately 7:00 a.m. in connection with an ongoing investigation into a series of violent crimes involving firearms and suspected gang members. To assist with the tactical entry and perimeter security, the Desert Hot Springs Police Department coordinated with the Coachella Valley Gang Task Force, the Post-release Accountability Compliance Team, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department helicopter unit, Star-9.
During the execution of the search warrants, investigators discovered and seized two firearms, an unspecified quantity of ammunition, and items identified as stolen property. Following the discoveries, two juvenile males were taken into custody by law enforcement personnel. Both individuals were subsequently transported and booked into the Riverside County Juvenile Hall on multiple criminal charges.
The Desert Hot Springs Police Department issued a clarification confirming that this local law enforcement operation carried no connection to any concurrent federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activities within the Desert Hot Springs area. Representatives stated that the department maintains its commitment to proactive enforcement strategies designed to address violent crime and support community safety.
