OAKLAND, CA  — A repeat offender faces new charges involving a targeted shooting at a driver in
the San Antonio neighborhood of East Oakland. Dadisi Lee, 32 of Oakland, was identified as
the suspect and placed under arrest on April 23.

Lee was booked into Alameda County Santa Rita Jail. He remains in custody ineligible for
release on bond, pending a pre-trial court hearing on May 5.

Charges filed against Lee (case number 26-CR-005480) include –
· Assault with a semiautomatic firearm PC 245(B)
· Shooting at an occupied motor vehicle PC 246
· Possession of a firearm by a felon PC 29800(A)
· Possession of ammunition by a prohibited person PC 30305(A)

Lee allegedly fired multiple shots at an occupied car on April 7. The driver’s car was struck by
gunfire and the rear passenger window was shattered. A nearby apartment building and at
least one parked vehicle were also struck by gunfire. No details were released concerning the
driver.

Neighbors reported hearing the gunshots, before officers responded to the vicinity of 17th
Avenue and Marin Way. Shell casings were recovered from the roadway and sidewalk along
17th Avenue, between East 15th Street and Marin Way.

The charges filed against Lee include sentencing enhancements if he is convicted, because
he has a criminal record. He has multiple prior convictions for possession of controlled
substances for sale between 2015 and 2018. Lee was also convicted for second-degree
robbery in 2012.
