Roommate Dispute Leads to Vehicle Pursuit and Arrest Following Drone Intervention
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – “Well, THAT Escalated Quickly
What started as a roommate dispute turned into quite the adventure for our officers.
After receiving a disturbance call, our Drone as First Responder (DFR) spotted the suspect making a dramatic exit in her vehicle. Officers attempted a routine traffic stop (keyword: attempted).
Our suspect had other plans. U-turns? Driving on the wrong side of the road? Yelling at officers out the window? You name it, she did it all, breaking many traffic codes along the way.
Spoiler alert: she eventually pulled over.
She was given a free ride to jail, not in a police car, but by ambulance, because she just had to keep the drama going until the very end.
Charges pending. Roommate drama: concluded.”
