Tip From National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Results in CSAM Arrest of Madera County Man

MADERA COUNTY, CA — “The Madera County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding suspected possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material occurring in Madera County. Detectives identified 77-year-old Madera resident William Mark Gann, as a suspect in this case.

On April 22, 2026, detectives with the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with detectives from the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and Special Agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), executed a residential search warrant at a home located near the intersection of Walden Drive and Berkeley Drive in Madera.

Gann was contacted and arrested for Possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material. Gann is now in custody at the Madera County Jail.

All electronic devices associated with Gann were seized for further examination as part of the ongoing investigation.
