Madera Woman Arrested and Released After Alleged Child Abuse

A woman in Madera was arrested and released on Monday after a child abuse case was made.

According to the Madera County Department of Corrections, Maura Reyes-Flores (38) was apprehended for infliction of a corporal injury on a child. The arrest was made by officers of the Madera Police Department.

According to the MCDC media report, Flores is unemployed. Her bail has been set at $50,000 but the exact circumstances surrounding her release are unspecified. Whether or not she will plead guilty, or go to court at all, is uncertain at this time.
