HEMET, CA — The Hemet Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing on S. Santa Fe Street that left one man dead early Wednesday, April 8
Officers responded to the location at approximately 12:35 a.m. after receiving a report of a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival, police discovered a male lying in the front yard of a residence with multiple lacerations and stab wounds.
Medical personnel from American Medical Response (AMR) provided treatment at the scene before transporting the individual to a local trauma center. According to department officials, the male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The Hemet Police Department’s Investigations Bureau is currently handling the case. No information regarding a potential suspect or the identity of the deceased has been released at this time.
