LINCOLN, CA — “On April 9, 2026, the Lincoln Police Department, in partnership with the California Department of Public Health and the Rocklin Police Department conducted tobacco retailer inspections at three local businesses under the authority of California Business and Professions Code.
As a result of the operation, officers and partner agencies seized more than 130 flavored vape products believed to be in violation of the Business and Professions Code. Investigators also seized numerous cannabis products, suspected psilocybin-infused candy, and additional flavored tobacco products believed to be in violation of California law. In addition, kratom-derived or synthetic adulterated food and beverage products were destroyed on site by a business representative.
These inspections are part of our ongoing commitment to protecting the health and safety of our community, especially our youth. The Lincoln Police Department has received concerns from parents regarding underage access to prohibited products, and we take those concerns seriously.
We will continue working with our public health and law enforcement partners to ensure businesses comply with state law and to help keep these products out of the hands of minors.”
