A wanted individual was recently arrested after allegedly being caught with fentanyl in Placer County.

According to a media release from the Sheriff’s Office via Facebook, the suspect was arrested following a traffic stop on an associated vehicle in Antelope on December 8.

Investigators searched the vehicle and reportedly discovered numerous items including an open box of plastic sandwich bags, a firearm scope, a fake urine container, and strips of suboxone.

Authorities later secured a search warrant for the suspect’s home, during the execution of which they confiscated over 86 grams of suspected fentanyl concealed inside four Ajax bottles, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Investigators also seized two additional grams of suspected fentanyl, a suspected fentanyl tablet pressed to resemble a Xanax pill, and “four suspected tablets of Buprenorphine Sublingual.”

Other items seized included a hairspray bottle and three empty Clorox bottles, digital scales, ammunition, plastic baggies, and two firearms — one unregistered and one registered to a separate individual, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The individual, identified as 34-year-old Quade Wehrman, was arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and being a felon in possession of ammunition.
