Del Norte County Deputies Seize Over 3 Pounds of Fentanyl

CRESCENT CITY, CA — Del Norte County authorities have seized over 3 pounds of fentanyl and arrested one person amid a months-long investigation.

According to a press release by the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office, deputies carried out a search warrant on the 2400 block of Hodge Ave. on Sunday, March 9.

During this search, the deputies reportedly confiscated over 3.8 pounds of suspected methamphetamine and over 3 pounds of suspected fentanyl.

One individual, identified as 48-year-old Hector F. Perez of Crescent City, was arrested on charges related to the seized narcotics and the presence of children at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.
