Teenager Fatally Shot in Fresno, Juvenile Suspect Arrested

FRESNO, CA — “On Monday, March 23, 2026, at approximately 1:20 am, Northeast Policing District officers responded to the area of Fourth Street and East San Jose Avenue regarding multiple reports of gunshots heard in the area, and a shooting victim. When officers arrived, they found three shooting victims. One victim, a 15-year-old male juvenile, had been struck by gunfire to his upper body and was located at East San Jose Avenue and Bond Street. That victim was pronounced deceased on scene. A second victim, a 15-year-old male juvenile, who had been struck by gunfire to his upper body, was found on East San Jose Avenue between Bond Street and Fourth Street. The second victim was transported to CRMC, where he was pronounced deceased by medical staff.

A third victim, a 14-year old male juvenile, who had been struck by gunfire to his upper body, was found several blocks away near Bond Street and East San Ramon Avenue. The third victim was transported to CRMC where he had surgery and is currently listed in stable condition. A fourth victim, a 17-year old juvenile, who was shot at, but not injured, ran away from the scene. That victim has been identified by detectives. The investigation has revealed that all four victims were walking together when they were shot at.
