Two Women Arrested for Alleged Felony Battery on Bus Driver in Sonora
SONORA, CA — “On March 2, 2026, at 4:35 p.m, the Sonora Police Department received multiple 911 calls for an assault on a bus driver on Stockton Road.
Officers from the Sonora Police Department arrived on scene and were informed that the suspects had fled the area.
The suspects left their phone at the scene, allowing officers to quickly identify them as 19-year-old Briana Hicks and 32-year-old Cathy Scotland of Sonora.
On March 3, 2026, at 11:39 a.m, officers with the Sonora Police Department arrested Hicks and Scotland for 243.3 PC, Battery on a bus driver, causing injury.”
