Large Marijuana Bust on I-5: 200 Pounds Seized in Colusa County
WILLIAMS, CA — MARCH 4TH 2026 — “On March 4, 2026, a Williams Area officer conducted a traffic stop on a pickup for speeding on I-5 within Colusa County and discovered an estimated 200 lbs. of marijuana hidden in the bed of the pickup.
The occupants were taken into custody without incident. The investigation was turned over to the Colusa County Major Crimes Task Force. The suspects were booked on felony charges for possession for sale and transportation of marijuana.
Proactive enforcement continues to disrupt the movement of drugs and criminal proceeds on California’s highways.”
