Organized Retail Theft Crew Busted in Sacramento County
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA — FEBRUARY 23RD 2026
“Between December 1, 2025 and January 22, 2026, a crew of suspects acted in concert to target multiple Dollar Tree locations throughout Sacramento County.
The suspects unlawfully entered employee-only stockroom areas and removed large quantities of beverages without paying. The total loss to the retailer is estimated to exceed $7,000.
During the ongoing investigation, detectives assigned to the Organized Retail Crime Unit learned the suspects were transporting the stolen merchandise to a liquor store in South Sacramento, Liquor King, where it was unloaded and ultimately sold for cash.
Through surveillance, search warrants, and follow-up investigation, detectives identified a Liquor King employee, 38-year-old Sukhjinder Singh, purchasing stolen merchandise from the crew.
Investigators determined Singh bought approximately $750 worth of stolen goods from the same suspects on multiple occasions. Surveillance footage also showed Singh requesting specific products and asking for additional merchandise, leading detectives to believe the scope of purchases may have been greater than initially discovered. Singh was arrested and booked for violating Penal Code 496 (Receiving Stolen Property).
Detectives served multiple search warrants and arrested the five-member theft crew:
• Lamone Jones, 32 (on parole and probation at the time of the thefts) – held on $500,000 bail
• Aundreas Green, 25 (on parole and probation)
• Anhelica Santoyo, 45 (on probation)
• Marisa Gonzales, 27 (on probation)
• Juliana Marquez, 20 (on probation)
The suspects are being held on $250,000 bail and face multiple counts of burglary and Penal Code 490.4 – Organized Retail Crime.
Investigators believe additional liquor stores may have knowingly purchased stolen beverages from this crew, and the investigation remains ongoing. Detectives are releasing the suspects’ booking photos because they believe they may be involved in additional unreported crimes. Anyone who believes they may have been a victim or who has information related to these suspects is encouraged to contact the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office at 916-874-5115.”
