Suspect Arrested in T’Neya Tovar Murder Investigation Following Search Warrant
SALTON CITY, CA — The Imperial County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) conducted an operation in Salton City on Friday February 13th. This operation resulted in the arrest of a suspect in the T’Neya Tovar murder investigation.
At approximately 07:30 hours, the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team and FBI agents arrived at a residence located in the 2800 block of Harlequin Court to serve a search warrant. According to officials, as law enforcement made contact at the property, a male subject attempted to leave the premises. The individual, identified as 51-year-old Abraham Feinbloom, was observed jumping a fence at the residence in an apparent attempt to evade the responding officers.
Feinbloom was taken into custody by law enforcement personnel at the scene. He was subsequently turned over to FBI agents for questioning while investigators processed the residence for evidence. Following the interview and the search of the property, Feinbloom was arrested and booked into the Imperial County Jail.
Records indicate that Feinbloom faces charges for 187(a) PC, Murder, and 148(a)(1) PC, Resisting a Peace Officer. The Imperial County Sheriff’s Office, led by Sheriff-Coroner-Marshal Fred Miramontes, confirmed that Feinbloom is currently being held without bail. The investigation into the death of T’Neya Tovar remains active following this development.
