Road Rage Response: High-Risk Stop Leads to Weapons Recovery at Mountain Gate Park

CORONA, CA – January 29th 2026

“Corona,Ca- On January 24, 2026 Corona Police officers responded to Mountain Gate Park regarding a brandishing a weapon call stemming from a road rage incident. Officers located the suspect vehicle leaving the area and conducted a high-risk stop.

The suspect, a 42-year-old male from Corona, was taken into custody without incident and positively identified by the victim. A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of unregistered firearms, high-capacity magazines, and ammunition.”
