Teamwork and Tech Lead to Major Bust: Hemet Police Recover Stolen Firearms and Narcotics
HEMET, CA — “Keeping our community safe takes ongoing effort and strong teamwork. Earlier this month, officers took a report of a residential burglary involving stolen mail, personal documents, firearms, and other property.
Through continued investigation and coordination, officers developed leads on the stolen property and firearms. Probation compliance checks at multiple locations led to the recovery of stolen items connected to the burglary.
Further investigative work resulted in the service of a search warrant at a separate location with assistance from our Hemet SOU, Team 2 Officers, AERO, Drone, and Motor teams.
During the operation, four arrests were made, stolen property and firearms were recovered, and evidence of narcotics sales was located inside the residence.
This case highlights the dedication and proactive efforts of the Hemet Police Department to hold offenders accountable and protect the community.”
