La Loma Junior High Paraprofessional Arrested on Suspicion of Crimes Against Minors
MODESTO, CA — JANUARY 20TH 2026
“Today, January 20, 2026, 23-year-old Lawrence Harris, a paraprofessional at La Loma Junior High School, was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
- Penal Code 288.2(a) – Harmful Matter Sent with Intent of Seduction of a Minor (Felony)
- Penal Code 647.6(a)(1) – Annoying or Molesting a Child Under 18 (Felony)
- Penal Code 647.6(a)(1) – Annoying or Molesting a Child Under 18 (Misdemeanor)
Three victims have come forward. All victims are minors.
Harris was arrested at the school and booked into the Stanislaus County Jail.
