West Sacramento Police Arrest Two After Discovery of Narcotics and Loaded Firearm in Vehicle
WEST SACREMENTO, CA — Officers with the West Sacramento Police Department responded to a report on Friday January 2nd involving two individuals observed unconscious inside a vehicle. Upon arrival at the scene, responding personnel identified drug paraphernalia visible within the cabin of the vehicle. Both occupants were subsequently detained by law enforcement.
A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a variety of items, including additional paraphernalia that authorities indicated was consistent with the sale of narcotics. Officers recovered approximately 42 grams of a substance suspected to be fentanyl, along with quantities of substances suspected to be methamphetamine and psilocybin mushrooms. In addition to the narcotics, law enforcement seized over $4,000 in United States currency and a loaded firearm discovered during the investigation.
Following the search and the collection of evidence, both subjects were placed under arrest. They were later transported to the Yolo County Jail for processing and booking.
