The Run is Over: Stolen Vehicle Suspect Captured After Foot Pursuit

This morning, a male crashed his vehicle into another car on Murrieta Hot Springs and the 15 freeway… and took off running. Officers quickly learned he had four felony warrants and was driving a stolen vehicle, which was taken from a residential burglary in Temecula.
After hours of coordinated, methodical searching (and a very determined game of hide-and-seek), Murrieta PD officers tracked him down inside of an apartment complex about 1.5 miles away. He eventually gave up and was taken into custody.
