Alleged Suspicious Behavior Leads to DUI Arrest in Murrieta

CORONA — On December 17, 2022, Corona Police Officers received a call regarding a man driving in a parking lot and pointing a possible long gun out the window.

Around 9:00 pm, officers dispatched to the location at the Crossings Shopping Center. The suspect was ultimately located in the area of 19000 block of Temescal Canyon Road, police said.

Curt Spraggins (60) of Long Beach was approached by police and reportedly initially refused to get out of his vehicle, although he eventually did so after negotiations.

Officers searched the vehicle and determined there were no firearms. Spraggins was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and resisting arrest.
