Suspect Arrested Following Series of Commercial Burglaries in Truckee
TRUCKEE, CA – “Since December 17th, the Truckee Police Department has been investigating a series of at least six commercial burglaries. Multiple businesses along Donner Pass Road between Highway 89 South and Coldstream Road were forcibly entered, with doors and locks damaged during the break-ins. Several items of various values were stolen.
After extensive surveillance and targeted patrol efforts, a suspect we believed to be responsible for all of the burglaries was arrested this morning at approximately 7:30 a.m. 29 year old Jose Martin Zarate-Enriquez was booked into Nevada County Jail for burglary, felony vandalism, and an outstanding arrest warrant for an unrelated criminal charge.”
