Porterville Man Arrested for Alleged Felony Vandalism of 32 Vehicles

Ernesto Anguiano, Jr., 23-Year-Old Porterville Resident

On the morning of December 13, 2025, Patrol Officers responded to numerous reports of vehicle vandalism throughout the City of Porterville. Due to the significant number of victims, Detectives were summoned to assume the investigation.

Ultimately, Detectives determined that the tires of 32 vehicles were slashed, causing an estimated total damage of $6,400.

During the investigation, Detectives identified Ernesto Anguiano, Jr., a 23-year-old Porterville resident, as the suspect responsible for the vandalism.

On December 14, 2025 at approximately 12:30 a.m., Patrol Officers apprehended Anguiano as he was walking on Plano Avenue, near Chase Street. Anguiano was observed discarding a sheathed knife as he was being contacted.

Anguiano was arrested for felony vandalism and booked at the TCSO South County Detention Facility, where he is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
