Visalia Search Warrant Leads to Fentanyl Seizure, Two Arrests on Narcotics and Warrant Charges

VISALIA, CA — The Visalia Police Department (VPD) recently executed a search warrant that resulted in the seizure of fentanyl and the arrest of two individuals as part of an ongoing investigation into local drug sales. The VPD Narcotics Unit, supported by the HOPE Team, served the warrant on Wednesday at a residence located in the 200 block of North Granite Street.

During the search operation, officers located fentanyl that was reportedly packaged for the purpose of sale. Authorities subsequently took two individuals into custody. Sarah Ruiz, 41, was arrested and faces multiple narcotics-related charges stemming from the discovery.

A second individual, Mario Fierro, 60, was also present during the service of the warrant. Fierro reportedly attempted to flee the location but was quickly apprehended by officers. He was arrested on the basis of outstanding warrants. Both Ruiz and Fierro were processed and booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
