A second suspect has been arrested in connection with an attempted murder case out of Tulare County. Police believe this is gang related.

When deputies pulled up to a residence in the area of Camp and Wills in Goshen on Jan 10, they found a 40-year old Hispanic male suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest and leg. He was treated at a local hospital and expected to fully recover.

When the white Chevy truck unloaded several rounds before speeding away, numerous calls began flooding the 911 dispatch center.

Neighbors say this shooting was a hostile interruption to the mostly peaceful years they have experienced in this area of Goshen.

Detectives of the Tulare Area Gang & Narcotics Enforcement Team (TAGNET) made their first arrest on February 2, 2018. David Guevara, an 18-year old Goshen resident, surrendered without incident when detectives served out the arrest warrant. He was booked into the Adult Pre-Trial Facility and is charged with attempted murder with a gang enhancement.

A second suspect, 22-year old Marcos Moreno of Visalia, was arrested on March 10. He also surrendered without incident when detectives located him at Avenue 328 and Road 108 in Visalia. He is being held at the same facility, Adult Pre-Trial and charged with the same charges as Guevara.
