Tuolumne County Authorities Carry Out Search Warrant in Ongoing Narcotics Investigation; Three Arrested
JAMESTOWN, CA — “Over the last few weeks, the Tuolumne Narcotics Team (TNT) has been investigating 61-year-old Dwayne Anthony Rasler and 28-year-old Micah John Patrick McKinstry for the sales of methamphetamine within Tuolumne County. Through their investigation, TNT Detectives obtained a search warrant for Rasler’s property in Jamestown.
On the morning of November 14, 2025, TNT Detectives conducted a traffic stop of Rasler and McKinstry on Stockton Road in Sonora City after observing them leave the property. TNT Detectives advised Rasler and McKinstry of the search warrant and conducted a search of both and the vehicle they occupied. During the search, a loaded .38 cal Taurus revolver was located, as well as 2.0 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
During this time, additional TNT Detectives went to Rasler’s property and served the search warrant. During the execution of the search warrant, a third male, 48-year-old Ivan Leo Larson, was found in a shed. Larson was detained and later arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
After clearing the property, TNT Detectives searched for evidence related to methamphetamine sales. During the search, TNT Detectives located over a pound (481.2 grams) of methamphetamine packaged in 5 separate quantities, digital scales, drug packaging material, drug paraphernalia, and cutting agents.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Rasler and McKinstry were placed under arrest for methamphetamine sales and transportation. Rasler was also arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. The amount of methamphetamine located had a street value of approximately—$ 9,600.00 ($20.00/gram).
