Human Trafficking Investigation Leads to Arrest of Registered Sex Offender in Arizona
RIVERSIDE, CA – “In mid-August 2025, the Riverside Police Department’s Vice Unit began an investigation after they learned a female juvenile was being advertised online for commercial sex. Detectives determined the juvenile was a victim of human trafficking and had engaged in prostitution in Riverside County, Los Angeles, and Arizona. Over the following months, Vice Detectives continued their investigation and identified an adult suspect believed to be exploiting the juvenile. As a result, they obtained an arrest warrant for 31-year-old Deirdrick Dayvon Bradford.
On October 14, 2025, with assistance from the METRO Team and U.S. Marshals, Deirdrick Bradford was located and taken into custody in Phoenix, Arizona. Bradford, a registered sex offender, was arrested for human trafficking of a minor, possession of child pornography, and pimping. He was extradited to Riverside County and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on October 24th, where he is being held on $85,000 bail.
“This investigation highlights the outstanding work of our Vice Unit and their relentless efforts to protect victims of human trafficking,” said Riverside Police Chief Larry Gonzalez. “With the support of our METRO Team and the U.S. Marshals Task Force, we were able to locate and arrest a dangerous offender who tried to evade justice. Their collaboration ensures that those who exploit the vulnerable are brought to answer for their crimes.”
Through their partnership with the U.S. Marshals Task Force, our METRO Team helps locate violent suspects who flee Riverside and assists in capturing fugitives who enter our city from other areas.
