SAN RAFAEL — A construction worker remains in custody for a stabbing and robbery that
occurred earlier this month.

Mynor R. Raxon, 33, is being held at Marin County Jail on open
charges in lieu of $75,000 bond.

Raxon, a transient with no permanent San Rafael address, allegedly accosted two victims in
the Canal district on October 10.

The incident happened on Belvedere Street. One of the victims suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds during a robbery, before the assailant fled
with both victims’ wallets.

San Rafael police responded, and the injured victim was transported to a hospital to receive
medical treatment for leg stab wounds.

Investigators assigned to the case identified Raxon as the robbery suspect. Officers
apprehended Raxon October 14 near the intersection of Belvedere Street and Vivian Way. He
was placed under arrest at 9:40 a.m.

Raxon was booked on suspicion of committing two felonies. One involves assault with a
deadly weapon/not a firearm or force likely to cause great bodily injury. He was also booked
on suspicion of robbery.

At the time of his arrest, Raxon allegedly had in his possession a fake identification card. For
this offense, he was booked for a misdemeanor-level charge for possession of false
government identification.

In separate court order, Raxon faces a felony shoplifting charge, and misdemeanor charges
for petty theft, and exhibiting a deadly weapon/not a firearm.
