Three Arrested After Gun, Narcotics Allegedly Found in Car During Traffic Stop Near Redding
REDDING, CA — “On October 28, 2025, at approximately 2:30am, a Redding Police Officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a white Buick SUV near South Bonnyview Road and Interstate 5 for vehicle code violations.
The driver was identified as Denyse WHITEHOUSE, 47 years of Anderson, CA. The front passenger was identified as Daniel URIBE, 33 years of Sacramento, CA, and the rear passenger was identified as Andrew DUENAS, 33 years of Sacramento, CA. A records check revealed DUENAS was on active Post-Release Community Supervision (PRCS) out of Sacramento County until 2027.
During the stop, officers observed an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, officers located an unregistered loaded Glock 17 handgun, a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine, and several prescription pill bottles containing various controlled substances.
All three occupants were arrested without incident and transported to the Shasta County Jail, where they were booked for various firearm possession and narcotics charges.”
