BRENTWOOD, CA — Police responding to a report of gunshots at a parking lot apprehended a
woman for multiple firearms-related offenses.
Veronica Angelica-Maria Greenhouse, 43, of Antioch, was arrested on October 21, a few minutes before midnight.
The incident occurred on the 5900 block of Lone Tree Way in Brentwood, where suspicious
circumstances were reported by a caller. The person reported hearing gunshots outside a
commercial building.
Greenhouse was arrested after Brentwood officers detained three persons outside a parked
vehicle, associated with the reported gunfire. Greenhouse was one of those persons and she
was subsequently arrested.
Officers investigating the incident found a loaded firearm lacking serial numbers, and spent
bullet casings in the vicinity of the vehicle. The firearm lacking serial numbers was
unregistered.
Evidently, Greenwood is allegedly involved sales of illicit drugs. Brentwood police said in a
prepared statement. “A large quantity of drugs and paraphernalia commonly associated with
narcotics sales were also found.”
Greenhouse was placed under arrest at 11:54 p.m. She was booked and held at the West
County Detention Facility in Richmond, prior to release on $100,000 bond.
Greenhouse is scheduled to appear for a court hearing on November 5.
The following five felony charges were filed against Greenhouse –
· Willful discharge of a firearm with gross negligence
· Possession of a firearm by a felon or narcotic addict
· Carrying a loaded handgun-not registered
· Possession of a controlled substance with a firearm
· Possession of a controlled substance for sale
