Pismo Beach Officer Turns Littering Contact Into Major Drug and Weapons Bust
PISMO, CA – “On Thursday, October 23rd, a Pismo Beach Police Officer made contact with a subject in the 800 block of N. 4th Street after observing suspected littering. What began as a routine contact quickly developed into a significant arrest.
During the investigation, the officer located multiple types of drugs, paraphernalia, and cash consistent with possible drug sales. The subject was also found to be in possession of a loaded firearm, which he pulled from his waistband and threw to the ground during the arrest. After a brief struggle, the officer safely took the individual into custody.
The subject was transported to county jail on multiple drug and weapons charges, including being a felon in possession of a firearm.
This incident highlights our officers’ attentiveness and dedication to keeping our community safe, turning a small observation into the removal of dangerous drugs and an illegal firearm from our streets.”
