REDDING, CA — “On October 16, 2025, the Neighborhood Police Unit (NPU) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Sarah Allpress, who was accompanied by Carl Adolfson in the front passenger seat. Prior to the stop, NPU officers had obtained a search warrant for both subjects, their residence, and their vehicle, based on an ongoing investigation into fentanyl trafficking throughout the Redding area.

During the execution of the warrant, officers located approximately 2 ounces (57.3 grams) of fentanyl concealed on Adolfson’s person. Officers then responded to the couple’s residence in the 3900 block of Meteor Street in Redding, where a subsequent search was conducted. During the search, officers located a Remington 700 rifle inside the residence. Adolfson, a convicted felon, is prohibited from possessing firearms.

Both subjects were ultimately booked into the Shasta County Jail on multiple charges related to the possession and transportation of fentanyl for sale, as well as felon in possession of a firearm.”
